CORA held their 8th Annual Chatham Empty Bowls Fundraiser on Sunday, April 30, 5:00 to 7:30 at Hanks Chapel Fellowship Hall in Pittsboro. Your participation continue to helps CORA Food Pantry feed hungry residents from all over Chatham County.

There were incredible hors d’oeuvres including chicken salad from Virlies. Bella Donna and our incredible bread bakers for the variety of home baked breads. A wonderful variety of beverages and desserts, including a Special Dessert donated by 458 West Bed & Breakfast.
Each item had a separate ticket collection jar. Guests were able put each ticket purchased in the jar for the item(s) they wanted to win. A winning ticket was drawn from the jar for each item. Here is just a sample of all of incredible raffle items that were available.
We were also excited to announce that we were having our fist live auction which included some fabulous and unique hand made pottery and other beautiful crafts such as the following:
All proceeds went to CORA Food Pantry, which provides a week’s worth of food for individuals and families in crisis in Chatham County. CORA now serves 500 families a month and expects to distribute enough food this year to feed more than 19,000 individuals for a week.
